Why we built HeadlessOps
At vatech.io, we’ve spent years building automation systems for companies of all sizes. We’ve used every iPaaS tool on the market — Make.com, n8n, Zapier, Workato — and while each has its strengths, we kept running into the same problems:
- AI is bolted on, not built in. Most platforms added AI as an afterthought.
- Observability is poor. When something breaks at 3am, you need full step-level logs, not just “workflow failed.”
- Credential management is a mess. Secrets scattered across workflows, no central vault.
- Code and no-code don’t mix well. You’re either locked into a visual builder or writing everything from scratch.
HeadlessOps is our answer to all of these.
What makes HeadlessOps different
AI-native from day one
Every workflow in HeadlessOps can include AI steps — not as a special node, but as a first-class citizen. Call GPT-4, Claude, or your own fine-tuned model. Chain AI steps together. Use AI to make routing decisions, classify data, or generate content.
Full observability
Every run is logged at the step level. You can see exactly what data went in, what came out, how long each step took, and what error occurred if something failed. No more guessing.
Secure credential vault
Store API keys, OAuth tokens, and secrets in the HeadlessOps vault. Reference them in workflows without ever exposing the raw values. Share credentials across workflows and teams safely.
